Jo completed a MSc in Psychology from the University of Hertfordshire in 2017, receiving a Commendation. She holds Graduate Basis for Chartership (GBC) and is a Member the British Psychological Society (MBPsS). Prior to this, she completed a BA (Hons) in Anthropology and Sociology from Durham University where she attended St John's College from 2008 - 2011.
Jo also has experience with children from age 5 to 13 and in the past has worked as a Teaching Assistant in schools including St Nicholas' Preparatory School in South Kensington, Heath Mount School in Hertford and Roselands Primary School in Hoddesdon. These roles involved providing learning support and carrying out behavioural interventions under the guidance and supervision of clinical and educational psychologists.
Jo holds a clean driving license and enhanced DBS check. She also holds nanny and babysitting insurance, as well as a number of CACHE endorsed childcare qualifications. She is looking to complete a maternity nursing course in the future. She is due to update her Ofsted-approved Paediatric First Aid training course in March 2020.
Jo is also employed part-time as a Nanny for a private family in the Hertfordshire area, working with an 8 year old and 5 year old.
